Happy day Fresh folks! I have another beauty fave for you today. Among the foundations in my collection which I've loved over the years, I've been I'd say, a Mac-girl (Mac Cosmetics) when looking at my collection. Not the Mac girl where you can hold your face and remove the makeup like a hardened clay mask. I'm one of the rare, natural is better Mac Girl ! But, I've liked their products! For years I've used their foundation, and til this day, I reach for their powder-foundation. And over the years I've found some others that became my foundation fling for the month. Hi Fresh Peeps! I hope you're all having a great week! I'm just a sucker for a good nude nail color! Everytime I'm looking at nail laquers I have to force myself away from the nude colors. But Essie has just the perfect shade. This color is fresh off their 2011 spring collection and I'm talking about it in 2020... Why not? It just makes you want to go on a french beach and drink piña coladas while wearing a large beach hat...at least, that's how I very specifically feel when I apply this color. The weekend is here Fresh K peeps! I checked out the Milk Makeup Cooling Water balm and wanted to share my thoughts. Milk Makeup is a brand that has become popular in recent years. This is partly because it was beauty brand that incorporated CBD (cannabis oil) into its products with their KUSH line. Aaand for you fellow Hip-Hop folks, they had a collab with Wu-Tang Clan . I mean, the brand is awesomely innovative! The Cooling Water balm is supposed to be awesome for giving your eyes a de-puffing pick me up. The ingredients include caffeine and sea water which helps to calm the skin. This balm can be a hack for hangovers and sleepless nights as the ingredient combo works great to de puff the skin and hydrate. I actually like it as a great prep for makeup, I did notice that my makeup went on smoother whenever I used the balm, and dear I say, stayed put also. Hi there peeps! This week I thought I'd share a book I read and share my thoughts on it. This is a pretty popular book and many folks have their own opinion on it. So, let's jump in! The book I will be reviewing is The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck . I like to sit with a good read every now and then. I kept hearing about this book and the title alone I had high hopes. I'm not in the self help book rave that's been going on over the years. But, I have read some that were actually good. So, why did you read this book, K? I thought this would have been a somewhat thought provoking read. When I started reading I can see how this book will hit people the wrong way. The tone is not one that coddles you or pacifies the bad news which is the schtick of the book. I found the 'realistic' tone of the book interesting, at first. I know he was using that tone as a way to stand out from other books of this nature. But, I'd say about half way in the tone grew very pret...

   Happy Day Fresh Peeps! I checked out the highly talked about GLAM GLOW Gravity MUD Mask . This mask retails for US$59 for the 1.7 oz (I know, I know, don't worry, you get an application brush which squares off the price tag) or 3.4oz for US$82. This is the mask that when applied turns silver, it supposed to be really cool! Upon opening what I really loved about the mask is the fragrance. GLAM GLOW claims it smells like marshmallows,  I found it smelled like I was spreading pina coladas on my face as a result of the smell (I may have applied more than the recommended as a result ). The mask did feel like if I was applying melted marshmallows to my face though, the texture was sticky and pretty cool! I removed the mask when it was ready and I must say! The peeling process was fun! My face felt firm and tight but a tad dry, this could be due to one of the key ingredients being Polyvinyl Alcohol, Alcohol Denat. If there is one thing I love doing is shopping! Its a hobby I really like . Over the past 6 years or so Trinidad businesses have started offering online shopping. Myself, like many have not really picked up on shopping from local businesses online. I don't know if I like the thrill of having my own package pass through my Miami skybox address, or maybe that businesses in my opinion, don't really push that they have online ordering, but for some reason online shopping in Trinidad is taking a while truly take off. Tatcha is a Japanese skincare brand that has gained alot of popularity in recent years. Victoria Tsai founded the brand based on principles of 200 year old beauty routine and Geisha its a brand. Unilever bought Tatcha last year, but the brand shows no sign of slowing down. Some of Tatcha's break out hits are the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist , which is misting moisturizer. The Water Cream Moisturizer which is highly raved. What I will be chatting about today is the Silk Canvas Primer. I kept hearing only good things about this primer and it's had such high praises from reviewers. I decided to splurge and try it out. Off the bat, it smells AH-mazing! I'm not into scented makeup products, the smell does fade, but it was lovely. Now, the key to this product is use SPARINGLY. I always get some great finds when I venture in there and that purple branding just takes over and wanted to share some with you, just don't tell anyone! So, lets dive into it! First are some really cool lip glosses from the brand Nicka K New York. These are some cool substitutes to liquid lips. The opacity of them are surprisingly good! They also last for quite sometime. Hi folks, I bring to you a story of twists, turns and adorableness! When Jeff the human was at a loss as to what was eating from his garden. He decided he would catch the culprit red-handed (or paw). He set up a camera system that uses motion detection. Now the perpetrator will be busted! But, what Jeff was not expecting was the culprit to be so disreputable as to not only steal from Jeff, but flaunt it on camera! Enter CHUNK! Not only was this cheeky groundhog eating from Jeff's garden, but he was flaunting it on camera 'I got your precious veggies, whatcha gonna do about it?' is what Chunk was saying in the footage. Chunk knew Jeff would now know WHO owns that garden. But, Jeff was fine with his little furry pillager. Jeff said in an interview, that it was Chunk's land, he just planted a garden on it. It's been five years since we saw our Last of Us crew. Everything was going great, Ellie and Joel have settled in Wyoming in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. The game reminds us that in this new world people can lose their lives quickly, too quickly . Graphics-wise the game is stunning! I'm not sure why they didn't utilize the PS5's hardware for this game, but it also shows that as old as the PS4 is, it still packs a punch! As beautiful as the game is, it is the source of some controversy I will try not to be too specific incase you don't know, but lets just say, we're not really Abby fans. Infact, the game's director started to receive death threats after the story leak earlier this year. The director has said that the game is about the cycle of violence and the intention is for the player to be repulsed by the violent acts they have to commit. Welcome back! Hope your week is awesome! If it is gloomy, have no fear I'm about to brighten that right up with this week's lacquer. ILNP is a fave indie brand of mine, I love the colors (and trust me they have PLENTY of them) I always get compliments on my nails when I wear their colors. And trust me, pics don't do them justice. My color this week is a gorgeous teal based color from them called ' No Days Off ' with an amazing sparkle baked in. The color takes on average of 2 coats to build up opacity, set it off with the glorious top coat and you're out the door to blind people! I have to say this is one of my fave brands in my collection.
