Tarte Foundcealer Multi-Tasking Foundation, How Does It Stack Up?

Happy day Fresh folks! I have another beauty fave for you today.

Among the foundations in my collection which I've loved over the years, I've been I'd say, a Mac-girl (Mac Cosmetics) when looking at my collection. Not the Mac girl where you can hold your face and remove the makeup like a hardened clay mask. I'm one of the rare, natural is better Mac Girl! But, I've liked their products! For years I've used their foundation, and til this day, I reach for their powder-foundation. And over the years I've found some others that became my foundation fling for the month. So, when I come across a new foundation in particular I like, it's good to land in my favs.

Tarte, is relatively new company that has just blown up in recent years. Why? Their products are just great! Last year all any and everyone who was into beauty couldn't stop talking about the Shape Tape concealer. Love it or critiqued it, you were talking about it! In my opinion it is a great product, once you set it, you can safely forget it! Tarte's ingredients are happily paraben free, SLS-free, ingredients which are irritants to the skin and are in alot of beauty products. So, it's always a pull for me when I find a product without these ingredients.

 

Last year, Tarte released the Foundcealer foundation and til today, it's received mixed reviews. Now, I genuinely really like this foundation. It doesn't feel like foundation on your skin. It boasts SPF 20 sunscreen so, I grab this when I know I'll need extra sun protection. Also, its vegan. I found their shade range can be perfect for when you're in between shades and for me, it looks more natural than other brands on the skin while adding some radiance.

I initially received a sample from Sephora for it, so I didn't buy it as it came out. BUT, I loved the sample so much I bought the full bottle. It feels really nice upon application. It's not a matte foundation, if you're a matte foundation girl, I'd suggest the LA Girl Matte Foundation. It gives a nice glow. And again, SPF y'all!

I really love the packaging too. The fact that it comes with a pump is great also and a plus over some others hygiene-wise, I also like that you can see exactly how much is left in the product. As you pump you can see the inside contracting to show you your usage. You can also twist to retract the pump, no more losing foundation covers and caps! And again, great hygiene factor!

All in all its become a go to for me over the past year and a new fave. Could be getting serious!
