Maybelline Fit Me - Foundation Sent From The Gods?

Why yes, you are seeing a review for the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation in 2020! I’m late to the review game on this foundation but, better late than never. The Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation claims to mattify and refine pores for a poreless finish while having a natural seamless finish.

I like to apply with a brush then pounce in with a damp Real Techniques sponge which works nicely. I did notice my pores seemed less noticeable and I did not use a primer. Once the foundation is set, it can stretch throughout an 8hr workday. Breaking for minor touch ups with a blotting sheet or powder.

The finish is nice with more of a demi matte finish, so not quite matte like say a LA Girl Pro Matte Foundation. But, depending on your preference you either like it or not. It stays super light on the skin which is a huge plus! The foundation held up well with my combination skin, by the end of the day it was showing to have some stress around my nose and T-zone area. But again, blotting powder and sheets are your BFFs.

All in all, this is my go to lately and was note expecting that from a US9.00 drugstore foundation. I loved it so much that after I took it for a test drive I had to rush home and open up this blog to spread the word!

For the price and HUGE shade range, you can’t lose! You can check out Amazon to buy

What is your unexpected drugstore fave? Have you tried this foundation?

  1. I absolutely love this! I use the matte and poreless in shade 330 and 332. I mix my foundations for the perfect colour!

    1. Sometimes you gotta do that, I know Loreal's shade range is insane but the Fit Me's range is wide too! But yeh, I too have to do a little mixing when I'm inbetween shades :)

  2. I love this review. For some reason my shades (330&332) turn orange by the end of the day. Could be some chemicals my body is releasing.....

    1. Yip, some foundations can Oxidize on you, try going a shade or two lighter. A primer can also help with this as well as a barrier between your skin and the foundation. If you're wearing makeup for a long time try carrying some blot sheets and touch up during the day to limit oils.
